Vista Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function based on each individual patient's needs.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Education: Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Certifications: CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
- Experience: Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, and proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
- Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.
- Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.
- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.
- Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.
