The Inpatient Registered Nurse Float position at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, and advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, and administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects.
- Float in one or more of the following areas: critical care, emergency department, and/or women's and babies.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- BLS required prior to orientation completion.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in critical care, emergency department, and/or women's and babies preferred.
