We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team as a Hospital Liaison - Crisis Response Specialist. In this critical role, you will provide oversight of mental health crisis response within the hospital milieu, ensuring seamless interactions with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide regulatory and policy oversight, including mental health court and outside counsel interactions
- Education of staff in formal and ad hoc situations
- Administrative task completion for all Mental Health Crisis Hold processes
- Establish and maintain working relationships with outside agencies
- Advocate for patient and family-centered care
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work
- Licensed Social Work credential (LSW) required
- Excellent conflict resolution and service recovery skills
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of detail orientation
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace applications
- At least 3 years previous experience in healthcare or court/criminal justice system
- Master's degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education
- Licensed Medical Social Worker credential (LMSW)
