Job Summary

As an Asphalt Plant Operator at CRH, you will be responsible for operating asphalt plants controls to weigh and deliver specified quantities of aggregates and asphalt cement to the dryer for heating and to the mixer for mixing and dumping into trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain proper heat in the dryer by adjusting thermostatic controls and ensure proper flow of materials.
  • Assist in maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and ensure high-quality products.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
Requirements
  • Experience in asphalt plant operations or a related field.
  • Knowledge of plant equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
