Woodland Springs is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Inpatient Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients, utilizing a range of therapeutic approaches.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and outside referral sources, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing treatment planning and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff.
- Ensure seamless transitions and continuum of care through thorough discharge planning and coordination with patients and their families.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling and relevant licensure in the state of practice.
- Current unencumbered state licensure (LMSW, LPC, or LPC-A).
- CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
- Prior experience working with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
