Petroleum Services Lead

River Cities Builders Petroleum Services seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our electrical division, you will coordinate construction jobs and projects, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Working closely with the Electrical Field Operations Manager, you will meet project goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality and productivity.
About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. The Electrical Construction Specialist will work directly with local Fire Marshalls, Inspectors, and other officials to ensure compliance with state and national regulations. Expertise in reading blueprints, plans, and product specifications will be essential in determining the sequence and methods of assembly and installation of assigned products.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical construction jobs and projects with the Electrical Field Operations Manager
- Assist in the education and enforcement of company policy and procedures, including site safety concerns
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and product specifications to determine sequence and methods of assembly and installation of assigned products
- Collaborate with other Journeymen or crew leaders to ensure continuity of work in situations requiring multiple disciplines
Physical Demands
The Electrical Construction Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, often in outdoor settings. Regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds, as well as frequent bending and stooping, are required. Standing for 8-10 hours per day may also be necessary.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Driver's license (current, unrestricted, and free of moving violations) and a state Electrical Journeyman license
- Must be able to meet company employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
