Job Title: Bilingual Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Staff Financial Group. As a bilingual and veteran-friendly employer, we recognize the valuable skills and experience that bilingual Spanish-speaking veterans bring to the field of diesel mechanics.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will utilize their extensive knowledge and experience gained during their military service to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems. Their technical proficiency, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will ensure the reliability and optimal performance of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and related systems.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  3. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  4. Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with clients in both English and Spanish.
  5. Repair or replace defective components using appropriate tools and equipment.
  6. Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential problems.
  7. Maintain accurate records of repairs, including service reports and time spent on each job.
  8. Stay updated on the latest advancements in diesel engine technology through continuous learning and training opportunities.
Requirements:
  1. Bilingual Spanish-speaking veteran with a strong background in diesel mechanics.
  2. Extensive knowledge of diesel engine systems, acquired through military training and experience.
  3. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engine issues.
  4. Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  5. Familiarity with a wide range of diesel engines, including various manufacturers and models.
  6. Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  7. Solid understanding of repair procedures and safety protocols.
  8. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  9. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  10. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  11. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
