Occupational Therapist

Colusa County Office of Education is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to provide occupational services to identified children from birth to age 21 who are eligible for Special Education services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Special Education team to provide training in motor skills, feeding, and swallowing to support the children's development and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide occupational services to children with special needs, including training in motor skills, feeding, and swallowing.
- Work collaboratively with the Special Education team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and individual family service plans (IFSPs).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify children's needs and develop strategies to support their development.
- Develop and implement occupational therapy programs to promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and educators to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Graduate of an accredited university program of Occupational Therapy, licensed by the State of California.
- Minimum of one year experience serving students with disabilities.
- Licensed by the State of California.
- Ability to provide DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, TB test clearance, COVID-19 vaccination verification (or program-required equivalent), and a valid California driver's license.
