Job Title: Night Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Custodian to join our team at Richland County School District One. As a Night Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other areas of the school building
  • Remove trash and recyclables from the premises
  • Sanitize and disinfect surfaces, floors, and equipment
  • Operate various cleaning equipment and tools
  • Perform light maintenance duties, including changing light fixtures and minor repairs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of six months experience in a cleaning or industrial environment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Physical ability to operate various machines and equipment
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position working 240 days per year. The Night Custodian will work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
