Givens Communities is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in a Full-Time Day Shift position at Givens Estates, a premier nonprofit life plan community in Asheville.
Key Responsibilities- Assist registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents.
- Administer prescribed medications and nutritional supplements as directed by medical staff.
- Document patient care delivery, condition, reactions, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Transfer and transport residents as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Current unencumbered LPN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision, exercising independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- At least one year of experience working with older adults, preferably in a long-term care or senior living setting.
- Supervisory experience as a LPN, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $28.00-$32.00, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Additionally, a $5,000 sign-on bonus and shift differential pay will be offered.
