Job Title: Meetings and Incentives Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Meetings and Incentives Specialist to join our team at LEO Events. As a Meetings and Incentives Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing successful meetings and incentive programs virtually, locally, and nationally. This role requires excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and a willingness to handle all planning and administrative details of meetings.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years' experience in corporate meetings and events, non-profit events, convention sales or services, destination management, hotel sales or services. Knowledge of registration platforms, such as Cvent, is preferred. The salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are a detail-oriented, organized, and analytical individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Meeting Services team with registration and attendee management support
  • Coordinate meeting duties, including maintaining accurate and organized files
  • Gather and prepare data for upcoming projects and identify future needs
  • Process RFPs, including sourcing, negotiation, and contracting
  • Manage agendas, meeting specs, diagrams, BEOs, signage plans, materials fulfillment, shipping, etc.
  • Develop proposals and client site visit coordination
  • Manage contracts and invoices
  • Develop relationships with hotel personnel and venues

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in hospitality or a related field
  • 2-4 years' industry experience
  • Knowledgeable of market and industry trends
  • Cvent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Memphis as a destination
