Job Summary

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our expanding academic department. As a key member of our team, you will provide patient care, teach and train OB/GYN residents, and engage in scholarly activity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in Minimally-Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
  • Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in the clinical context.
  • Engage in scholarly activity.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • MD or DO
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Certified MIS-designated focus practice and/or AAGL/SLS fellowship trained
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
Preferred Qualifications
  • Urogynecology experience
  • Experience with mentoring and training residents and medical students
  • Experience or interest in research and academic leadership
