About the Role

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our Vascular division in Austin, TX. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting our innovative products and providing clinical education and sales support to customers in the hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospital personnel, including physicians and physician office groups, to identify their clinical needs and goals.
  • Provide clinical education and training on our products, including vessel closure devices, to ensure customer and patient success.
  • Support case planning, case coverage, and product pull-through throughout the designated territory and region as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve projected sales goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest product, therapy, and technology developments in the industry to provide expert knowledge and support to customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5+ years of related work experience, preferably in a lab or operating room environment.
  • Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.
