Behavioral Health Technician Role

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in the care and treatment of patients with mental health issues. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals.
  • Assisting patients with daily activities and therapeutic interventions.
  • Monitoring patient behavior and reporting changes to the clinical team.
  • Supporting the implementation of treatment plans and group therapy sessions.
  • Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Documenting patient progress and interactions.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some roles may require a degree in a related field.
  • Experience in a mental health or healthcare setting, preferably.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
