Job Overview:


The Housekeeping Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public spaces, service areas, and landings adhere to Omni's prestigious four-star/four-diamond standards.

This position involves inspecting the cleanliness and upkeep of all accommodations while documenting any necessary repairs or inconsistencies within guest rooms.

Additionally, the Team Leader will guarantee that all room attendants are equipped with the necessary linens and supplies, and may assist in room cleaning when required to uphold our four-diamond standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assign special tasks as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.

• Report any required repairs or discrepancies in guest accommodations.

• Ensure that all Guest Room Attendants are provided with adequate supplies and linens.

• Assist in the cleaning of guest rooms as needed.

• Help in processing morning and evening room status reports.

• Maintain the Guest Room Attendant's linen cart in an organized and tidy manner.

• Ensure that linen closets on guest room floors are fully stocked.

• Keep the supply cage organized and clean at all times.

• Confirm that all guest rooms are logged via phone upon completion of cleaning.

• Prioritize the inspection of VIP rooms promptly.

• Ensure that check-out and vacated rooms are addressed as a priority.

• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities and events.

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.

• Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or coordinating experience in housekeeping.

• Ability to uphold four-diamond cleanliness standards.

• Capability to collaborate with management on special initiatives.

• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency as needed.

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 75 lbs.

• Must be able to communicate effectively via radio and phone as required.

• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
