Job Summary

The Food Court Associate - Food Preparation and Service Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing food to meet the high standards of The GIANT Company. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to company standards and regulations
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations
  • Perform tasks such as slicing, weighing, and labeling food items, as well as operating equipment such as ovens, fryers, and cash registers
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand Company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job, including but not limited to regular attendance
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions. The associate must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a variety of temperatures, including freezers and non-air-conditioned areas.
