Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacotherapeutic recommendations to medical providers, nurses, and dieticians to optimize patient care.
  • Practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies.
  • Maintain competency in all aspects of drug therapy, including factors related to patients of all age groups.
  • Stay knowledgeable of and comply with laws, rules, and regulations that govern the practice of pharmacy.
  • Utilize Pyxis experience, including knowledge of Pyxis Reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a Pharmacist preferred.
  • Preferred 1-3 years of Hospital experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.)
  • Preferred Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm. D.)
  • California Board of Pharmacy - Registered Pharmacist
