Job Summary:

The Sterilization Specialist will be responsible for manually cleaning and reprocessing surgical tools and endoscopes in a safe and cost-effective manner. This role requires executing established policies under the direction of the patient care director/clinical manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute cleaning, sterilization, and assembly of equipment, supplies, and instruments following prescribed procedures and techniques
  • Work collaboratively with the patient care team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC required
  • Prior experience in Central Service/Processing desired
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) certification required
