About the Role:

This position is part of WillScot's corporate logistics team, responsible for planning, developing, and deploying logistics strategies. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in transportation software design, deployment, department reporting, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical support for multiple service centers, regions, and individual markets.
  • Conduct multi-modal freight analysis and trends related to the transportation industry.
  • Develop and maintain driver productivity metrics, dispatching metrics, driver scorecards, commercial price reviews, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Facilitate transportation analysis for the WSMM business, including Transportation Management System (TMS) reporting, driver productivity metrics, dispatching metrics, driver scorecards, commercial price reviews, and other relevant data.
  • Provide analytical support and benchmarking for contract-related activity, such as Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), camera solutions, TMS/routing platforms, and other relevant technologies.
  • Identify areas of continuous improvement and strive to exceed customer service expectations.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level KPI reporting, including volume, performance, and compliance metrics.
  • Oversee the remarketing of used vehicles and equipment.
  • Deploy new vehicles and equipment.
  • Forecast, plan, and execute rolling stock fleet management.
  • Process weekly and monthly invoices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, SmartSheets, and vendor portals.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and develop process improvements that focus on safety, financials, operations, and customer service.
  • Maintain positive business relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management/engagement with the field.
  • Analytical thinker with an understanding of broader supply chain initiatives.
  • Ability to create ad-hoc performance analysis and identify corrective action(s) when needed.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and vendors.
  • 5-7 years of experience in operations/logistics project planning and execution.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
