**Job Summary**

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer PRN to join our Radiology team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer PRN, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment and supplies, and providing exceptional patient care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform ultrasound procedures, including portables, ER, general, and vascular exams
  • Maintain licensure and participate in continuing education units (CEUs)
  • Adhere to departmental procedures and comply with life, safety, fire, and hazardous waste requirements
  • Participate in clinical activities, such as assisting with patient flow and care, performing various testing, and assisting providers
  • Participate in clerical activities, including registration, scheduling, filing, and telephones
  • Participate in departmental on-call requirements

**Requirements:**

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography school or program of Sonography
  • ARDMS certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
  • Expected to acquire RVT certification within a timeframe established by supervisor
