Position Overview:
The Milling Machine Operator is tasked with the safe and efficient milling of surfaces on various infrastructure projects, including roadways and parking areas, utilizing specialized milling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work sites to identify and rectify any safety hazards, ensuring all machinery is well-maintained.
  • Execute maintenance tasks on milling machines to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Operate transport vehicles for the safe loading, hauling, and unloading of milling machinery.
  • Utilize milling machines and auxiliary equipment effectively and safely.
  • Manage the cleanup and proper disposal of milled materials.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors, maintaining professionalism even in challenging situations.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to material quality and equipment functionality, collaborating with colleagues to address production challenges.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
