Job Summary:

Brixmor Property Group Inc. is seeking an experienced commercial retail real estate transactional attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on open-air shopping center acquisitions and dispositions.

Key Responsibilities:

Structure, draft, negotiate, manage, and close sophisticated real estate acquisitions and dispositions
Provide expert advice on commercial real estate transactions, including condemnation actions, title matters, easements and rights of way, environmental matters, subdivisions, REA's and restrictive covenant issues
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

J.D. from a leading law school, with proven academic success
Minimum of 5 years of relevant transactional and commercial real estate experience with a law firm and/or corporation
Retail, shopping center experience required
Management experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interface with colleagues at all levels
Proven ability to manage stressful situations, a diverse and high-volume workload, and provide client service in a calm and professional manner
Flexibility and strong analytic and problem-solving ability
