About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Department Manager to lead our Fresh Meat Counter team at our REWE store in Mainz. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the service department for the product areas of meat, sausage, cheese, bakery, and delicatessen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement national sales concepts to drive sales growth
• Manage cost and revenue development, regular inventories, merchandise planning, and flow of goods
• Develop and implement strategies to inspire customers to purchase our products
• Lead and train your team, setting a good example and promoting respectful leadership and collaboration
• Maintain correct pricing and product range
• Prepare and refine meat, sausage, cheese, bakery, and delicatessen products to high standards
• Ensure adherence to hygiene regulations
• Provide expert advice and excellent customer service
