Employment Type: Non-Exempt / Hourly

Classification: Seasonal

Location: Bryson City, NC

Salary: $12-14 per hour

Position Overview: Responsible for the daily operations of the Depot Caf, Concession Train Car, and Food Trucks. Duties include food preparation, customer interaction, cash management, inventory oversight, merchandise handling, supply replenishment, and maintaining cleanliness of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the Manager on Duty for daily targets and goals.
  • Prepare food items for the Depot Caf and Concession Train Car, including boxed meals.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, provide menu information, and possess knowledge of food ingredients.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including initial and final cash counts, change distribution, and sales processing.
  • Ensure service is conducted professionally and aligns with the standards set by Food & Beverage Management.
  • Maintain a complete uniform throughout the shift.
  • Follow company service protocols, procedures, and policies.
  • Comply with health department regulations.
  • Uphold sanitary and safe food handling practices.
  • Distribute boxed meals and assist guests at the café window.
  • Support inventory receiving, storage, and proper management.
  • Assist in various Food and Beverage tasks as needed.
  • Participate in required training sessions.
  • Adhere to company cash handling policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Work Environment:
  • Must be adaptable to varying work schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license is preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16 years.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays is preferred.
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
