Healogics, the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Wound Care Nurse Specialist.

**Overview**
With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing. As a result, Healogics is working to provide our differentiated, quality outcomes to as many patients as possible through our out-patient clinic partnerships.

**Job Summary**
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide patient care and handle intake and discharge processes for our Wound Care Center patients as scheduled. Additionally, they may serve as a Case Manager to a group of assigned patients, performing initial nursing assessments, communicating findings with physicians, and documenting care plans.

**Responsibilities**
• Provide patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handle patient intake and discharge processes as assigned and according to hospital and nursing standards.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training.
• Serve as Case Manager to a group of patients as assigned, performing initial nursing assessments, communicating findings with physicians, assessing wound stage and measurements, documenting care plans, evaluating patient status, and identifying situations requiring intervention.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide education to patients or caregivers, and serve as a patient advocate in delivering and coordinating patient care.
• Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy-related duties as assigned, upon completion of Healogics hyperbaric training.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Center Providers, the Program Director, and the Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs.
• Function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics policy.
• Perform other duties as required.

**Requirements**
• Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current RN license in the state of practice – to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care Certification preferred
• Wound care experience preferred

**Salary**
$33.32-$42.84 per hour
