Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide/Food Service Worker to join our team at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center. This role is responsible for providing excellent meal service to our residents in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to all policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking, reheating, and plating dishes.
  • Deliver and retrieve food carts to all nursing units during meal service.
  • Take inventory and deliver prepared nourishments to nursing unit pantries at designated times for residents' use.
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a kitchen in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated.
