Role Overview:


The CT Imaging Technologist collaborates closely with the Chief Technologist, Imaging Manager, Director, and Medical Staff to enhance patient care and streamline workflow by offering support, education, and leadership to the technical team.

This position involves performing CT imaging procedures as per established state and departmental protocols, addressing various medical conditions including neurological disorders, strokes, oncological assessments, and cardiac evaluations.

Deliver exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department, ensuring high-quality imaging and examinations while being attuned to patient needs. Adhere to safe radiation practices and demonstrate leadership qualities, serving as a role model for fellow technologists. Act as a clinical resource for unit personnel, ensuring compliance with current standards of practice.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of relevant experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's Degree strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
