Job Summary:

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting manufactured products at various stages to ensure quality and reliability. This includes performing internal audits, instrument calibrations, and data accuracy checks. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform internal audits on processes and procedures
  • Instrument calibrations and data accuracy
  • Perform comprehensive quality assessments of products in all stages of the manufacturing process
  • Train operators to recognize acceptable vs. unacceptable physical characteristics of raw, in-process, and finished material
  • Work with manufacturing personnel to identify root causes of non-conformances
  • Maintain computer database for CAR and calibration records
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Some experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
  • Exposure to Quality Controls is preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Work Environment:

The Quality Control Technician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with occasional overtime. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
