Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Specialist to join our team at Anistar Technologies. As a key member of our security solutions business, you will be responsible for installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and troubleshoot various security management solutions, including access control, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television systems, and other security-related systems.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and repair equipment and devices associated with these systems.
  • Perform upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality and usability.
  • Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Read and understand technical documents, drawings, and prints to install equipment correctly.
  • Terminate equipment and field devices while verifying operation from the field to the reporting systems.
Requirements
  • Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with installation and operations of fiber optics, Cat 5e, 6a, RS 485, 232 analog and digital cable specifications.
  • Knowledge of IP Video and Storage Solutions, as well as Analog Video.
  • Working knowledge of the NEC and electrical/electronic calculations.
  • Experience with S2, Panasonic, Axis, Bosch systems is a plus.
  • Nurse call, intercom, and commercial sound experience is also a plus.
