About the Role

The Pool Speech Language Pathologist practices within the scope of care defined in the Georgia State Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating SLP intervention to inpatients and outpatients upon consultation with a physician to promote maximal functional outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
