Financial Controller

Job Summary:

Total Highspeed is a leading provider of high-speed internet solutions, serving over 150 rural communities in Missouri and Arkansas. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team and play a key role in driving our financial operations forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
• Paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Conduct a professional rapport with clients, vendors, visitors and employees
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
• Manage special projects as assigned by the President

Requirements:

• Maintain a clean, courteous and professional demeanor
• Have experience tracking budget expenses
• Have a degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or Finance
• 2 Years Accounting experience is required
• Have attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Be able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
• Have a high level of PC proficiency and data entry skills
• Have excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills
• Have competent written and verbal communication
