We are a family in need of a reliable and trustworthy part-time sitter to care for our two energetic boys in Urbana, OH. The ideal candidate will be experienced in childcare, have excellent communication skills, and be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment.
About the Job:
- Type: Part-time
- Location: Urbana, OH
- Candidates must have experience working with children and be able to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality childcare services to our two boys, including homework assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding daily activities, meals, and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the health and safety of our children at all times, administering CPR and First Aid if necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children (ages 5-12)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Compensation:
$15-$18 per hour (dependent on experience) + benefits
