At Mass General Brigham, we are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse Coordinator to provide exceptional patient care and support nursing practice in our ambulatory setting. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a minimum of 5-7 years of pediatric oncology nursing experience and a strong background in leadership and education.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering chemotherapy and medical infusion, and supporting physician and advanced practice providers during clinic visits. They will also participate in process improvement initiatives and implement program goals to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy and medical infusion to patients as part of a multidisciplinary care team
  • Provide direct patient care, including phone triage and in-basket messaging, to ensure timely and effective communication with patients and families
  • Support physician and advanced practice providers during clinic visits to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor and maintain clinic flow to optimize patient throughput and satisfaction
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of pediatric oncology nursing experience required
  • Strong leadership and educational background, with experience in developing and implementing nursing protocols and policies
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to apply evidence-based practice in complex patient care situations
  • Able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
