We are seeking a dedicated Financial Bookkeeping Specialist to join a reputable manufacturing organization that prioritizes the success and development of both its employees and clients. This role is ideal for an individual with substantial experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Providing bookkeeping and write-up services
  • Processing payments and managing accounts payable
  • Preparing general ledger entries and financial statements
  • Conducting annual and quarterly payroll tax return preparation and review
  • Handling annual 1099 preparation
  • Managing client accounts
  • Generating various accounting reports
  • Preparing reconciliations and escalations
  • Verifying financial statements for accuracy and discrepancies
  • Creating reports and budgets for specific accounts, including income, taxes, and insurance
  • Maintaining on-site records in accordance with company policies and local regulations
  • Providing support to management
  • Understanding and creating journal entries for the general ledger and financial statement preparation

Qualifications:

· Extensive experience in accounting

· Specific bookkeeping experience is preferred, ideally with 5+ years of knowledge

· Proficiency in PC-based business applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Sage Simply Accounting, and email platforms. Familiarity with accounting software is advantageous but not mandatory.

· Candidates must be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and able to meet deadlines while maintaining productivity. A professional demeanor and a desire for long-term employment are essential.

Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
