Job Summary

The Nurse Resident program at TriStar Summit Medical Center is a comprehensive training initiative designed to equip new graduate nurses with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today's healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing models and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive care.
  • Assess patient condition, perform procedures, and document care in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and intervene as necessary.
  • Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
  • No previous experience necessary.
