The Clinical Systems Analyst Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing clinical information systems, collaborating closely with both healthcare professionals and technical teams to enhance operational workflows and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with team members to ensure alignment with departmental objectives and vision.
- Emphasize the standardization of operational processes to promote patient safety.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure challenges affecting clinical applications.
- Design, test, and sustain clinical applications to fulfill organizational requirements.
- Provide comprehensive end-user support utilizing critical thinking abilities.
- Facilitate effective communication with individuals and groups.
- Report compliance concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
- Assist in educating end users regarding system modifications and procedures.
- Foster relationships with various departments to ensure effective communication.
- Prioritize and implement enhancements to clinical information systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
Additional Duties:
- Evaluate workflows, data collection methods, and technical challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
- Lead the team to achieve high-quality results and compliance with standards.
- Utilize expertise to meet organizational goals and standards.
- Organize task distribution and mentor team members.
- Guide process and requirement analysis for complex initiatives.
- Instruct team members on intricate design and configuration tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with clinical information systems and data management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in project management.
- Ability to successfully lead multidisciplinary team projects.
- Prior experience in clinical information systems is essential.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Epic certification/accreditation is mandatory.
