The Women's Care Center-Parkersburg, WV is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality medical services to our patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our Medical Director and Nurse Manager to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, and ensuring that care is conducted in accordance with established standards of care and organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care services in the clinic, focusing on women's reproductive health and limited to consultation, physical exam, laboratory and venipuncture testing.
- Assist patients in preparation for obtaining continuity care elsewhere, identifying primary care needs and making referrals as necessary.
- Develop and implement medical policies and procedures, monitor compliance, and conduct quality improvement programs.
- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and behavioral needs, taking into account cultural and spiritual preferences, and provide treatment and/or intervention as indicated.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the assessment and management of wellness and health conditions.
- Active, unrestricted WV State Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License.
- Preferred minimum 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health or Physician Assistant - Women's Health.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.
- Current and active National Provider Identifier and BLS certification.
- Flexible schedule.
- Paid time off.
