Construction Management Intern Position at Intrinsic Development

COMPENSATION: $16.00-$20.00 based on experience

ABOUT INTRINSIC DEVELOPMENT: Specializing in high-end multi-family and commercial mixed-use projects, Intrinsic Development has successfully managed over 3.5 million square feet of developments. We are currently expanding our operations.

ROLE SUMMARY: We are looking for a Construction Management Intern to support our Project Management Team with various pre-construction activities for forthcoming projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent throughout the construction process
  • Ensure timely project completion within budget constraints
  • Monitor safety regulations and compliance
  • Support subcontractor selection and bidding processes
  • Provide oversight and direction to field Superintendents

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management or a related discipline
  • Availability for up to 20 hours per week during academic semesters and up to 40 hours during summer breaks
  • Interest in multi-family and mixed-use development projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to use tools, climb ladders, and operate a vehicle
