Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Lending Specialist to join our team at Farm Credit Council. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for developing new business, servicing existing customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities in the assigned office and service existing customers
  • Review loan analysis and process loan requests within delegated authority
  • Establish business relationships with agricultural producers, rural landowners, and business leaders
  • Represent the association at local and regional community and market-related activities
  • Make and service leases, loans, and other financial products within delegated authority
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Three or more years of experience as a loan officer or loan officer associate
  • Outstanding business development skills and credit knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to assess risk and provide recommendations on loan approval
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic to moderate skill set in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong business development skills
  • General knowledge of accounting and financial systems

At the discretion of Farm Credit Council, position may be offered at alternate titles and other business experience may be considered relevant.
