Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

Position Overview

MegazoneCloud Global is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team in North America. As a key member of our Services Delivery team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, escalations, and proactive maintenance for our clients' AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations and monitor clients' AWS service environments.
  • Provide technical support for critical AWS service environments to avoid downtime, improve quality, and save costs.
  • Incident response, change management, provisioning, and testing for AWS service environments.
  • Act as a single point of contact between clients and key MegazoneCloud members.
  • Support initial discussions with clients regarding their AWS requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional AWS hands-on skills based on complex/large environment support and project experiences.
  • Support AWS environments, including response to escalations from monitoring tools to analyze and resolve incidents for clients' infrastructure running in AWS.
  • Communicate support request information to team members and escalate cases as necessary to ensure prompt closure.
  • Interact with clients to identify issues, troubleshoot, and follow up on issues via email, ticketing system, on-site meetings, and phone calls.
  • Configure and tune cloud-based tools, manage costs, security, and compliance for clients' environments.
  • Mid to advanced knowledge of AWS security and compliance controls.
  • Create and maintain updated documentation for clients' environments.
  • Promote best practices to enhance and improve organizational processes.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly discussions with clients to review outstanding issues and changes and discuss proposals for improving clients' environments.
  • Minimum experience:
  • 2 years of experience in infrastructure management or deployment projects.
  • Plus, over 3 years of hands-on experience in complex/large AWS infrastructure management or deployment projects.
  • Authorization to work in the US (e.g., permanent residency, citizenship).
