Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic and Repair Specialist to join our team at AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing a broad range of vehicle repair issues to ensure proper performance and safety of vehicles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle automotive systems to identify and repair faults.
- Remove and reinstall transmission systems, as well as assist other technicians with technical activities.
- Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians.
- Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques to stay up-to-date in the field.
- Record findings accurately to estimate repair costs effectively.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience as a mechanic is required for this position.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs with general supervision.
- Excellent judgment and discretion, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor, with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and calm demeanor under pressure.
