Job Summary

Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing analytical procedures that require a professional level of knowledge to execute, interpret, and analyze, especially those results which are abnormal or atypical.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting cytological examinations to identify abnormal cell growth
Interpreting results and providing recommendations for further testing or treatment
Collaborating with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in a related field
One year of supervised clinical experience in an approved clinical laboratory
Certification as a cytotechnologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or the International Association of Cytotechnologists (IAC)
