Qualifications
Education:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Experience:
Preferred one (1) year of nursing experience, with a preference for six (6) months in psychiatric nursing. Familiarity with current nursing practices, medication administration, and patient care protocols is essential.
Licensure/Certification:
Must hold a current Practical Nurse license in the State of Georgia. CPR Certification and additional certifications in de-escalation techniques are required.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and teaching abilities are necessary.
Physical Requirements:
This role is physically and mentally demanding, requiring significant mobility and the ability to lift or move over fifty (50) pounds.
Additional Duties:
Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer, Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, Nursing Manager, or Supervisors.
