Job Opportunity: MIG and TIG Welder

This is an exciting chance for experienced welders to utilize their skills in MIG & TIG welding at a fabrication shop in a dynamic environment.

As a MIG and TIG Welder, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of structures and metals, utilizing your expertise to prepare surfaces and set up welding equipment, position pieces to be welded, and perform all positions of welding.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing surfaces and setting up welding equipment
  • Positioning pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, or guides
  • Performing all positions of welding on various structures and metals
  • Operating welding equipment
  • Studying engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences
  • Reading work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements
Requirements:
  • Experience with either TIG and MIG
  • Working experience using blueprints or technical diagrams
  • Experience planning and layout of welding sequence
  • Ability to regulate current and voltage or gas and wire flow rate
  • 2 years of relevant experience
