At Spartan Placements LLC, we are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for conducting reviews of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for S-Corp., partnership, C-Corp., individual, and fiduciary clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tax return reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Manage client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, and completing tax projects
  • Maintain active communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and meet deadlines
  • Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects
  • Assist with business development and expansion of services to new and existing clients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA and/or JD required; MT/MST and/or LLM in tax preferred
  • 5 or more years of public accounting experience with a focus in tax
  • Strong tax and technical research skills
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Experience managing complex engagements
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and practice management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
