  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices, applying your knowledge to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications.
  • Participate in unit-specific orientation and competency programs, ensuring your skills and knowledge are current and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, utilizing strong verbal and written skills to convey complex information.
  • Access and manage patient health information (PHI) as required to perform job duties.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU in an acute care setting of similar size and complexity to our facility.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with airway management, central lines, and post-procedure care in a critical care/PACU environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of the nursing process, with a focus on addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological patient needs.
  • Ability to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job.
  • Valid California Driver's License and liability insurance (if using personal vehicle for STCH business).
