We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Oncology Nurse to join our team at Rose Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cancer and related conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse Associate Degree.
