Job Title: Assistant Professor of Marketing

Bethune-Cookman University is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Marketing to join our College of Business and Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing, as well as contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach assigned courses in marketing, including principles of marketing, marketing research, and marketing management.
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Use the University's learning management system to post course materials and communicate with students.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and grade reports.
  • Participate in departmental and College meetings, as well as serve on committees as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's curriculum and strategic plans.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. degree in marketing is required. ABD may be considered.
  • At least 2-3 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • A strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school.
  • Evidence of successful teaching and research experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external constituencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A record of research and publication in marketing.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Ability to contribute to the University's commitment to enhancing student awareness and appreciation of diverse ethnic and cultural heritages.
