Bridge Superintendent

At White Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of bridges and other infrastructure projects.

• Attend pre-job meetings and review project scopes with the Project Manager and Area Manager.
• Set up job sites and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are on site.
• Communicate effectively with IDOT, inspectors, subcontractors, and owners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all work is completed according to specifications and that all EEO requirements are met.
• Coordinate subcontractor operations and manage local union relationships.
• Supervise on-site employees and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Generate a two-week look-ahead schedule and verify utility locates before excavation.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure maximum equipment utilization on the project.
• Oversee work to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Bridge Superintendent or in a related field.
• Able to work in the US without company sponsorship.

• Safety and compliance training on the job.
