Job Title: Enterprise IT Trainer

Join our team as an Enterprise IT Trainer and play a critical role in delivering high-quality training programs to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training courses, analyzing IT training needs, and creating proactive solutions to meet those needs.

About the Role:
  • Design and deliver training courses on IT software and hardware
  • Analyze IT training needs and create solutions to meet those needs
  • Gain a strong working knowledge of program technical tools from a user perspective
  • Lead, instruct, and conduct technical training courses and other inventions for employees
  • Design instructional materials for training in collaboration with various tool SMEs
  • Maintain and update content within existing courses
  • Execute courseware development for mission-specific training
  • Oversee and coordinate formal, group-level training portfolio
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with applicable Subject Matter Experts (SME)
  • Routinely interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Plan and synchronize course schedules and training events with stakeholders/new users
  • Collaborate with PMO and technical team members on course descriptions and requirements; publish course descriptions, pre-requisites and schedules
  • Manage the course registration process and ensure applicants meet course criterion
  • Support other program training activities as required
Requirements:
  • Must have experience supporting customer training programs
  • Prior experience in formal instructional design and curriculum development
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to articulate intent, frame requirements, set priorities and develop practical methods to meet training goals
  • Adapt well to change and thrive in an atmosphere that requires trust, teamwork, initiative, creativity, curiosity and strong problem-solving skills
  • Poised with exceptional communications skills, both oral and written
  • Proven ability to operate under broad intent independent of direct oversight; reliable, trustworthy, committed to Student success
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Prior experience in formal instructional design and curriculum development (orchestrating needs assessment, formulating learning behaviors, syllabus design, lesson planning, courseware development, grading rubrics)
  • Proven success in outreach, networking and forming mutually beneficial relationships across organizational lines
  • Ability to negotiate consensus across competing priorities, varied equities and divergent goals
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to articulate intent, frame requirements, set priorities and develop practical methods to meet training goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Adapt well to change and thrive in an atmosphere that requires trust, teamwork, initiative, creativity, curiosity and strong problem-solving skills
  • Poised with exceptional communications skills, both oral and written
  • Proven ability to operate under broad intent independent of direct oversight; reliable, trustworthy, committed to Student success
  • Extensive experience with adult learners
Education/Experience:
  • 13 + years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's; or 11 years of relevant experience with a Master's

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
